    Venue: Wells Green Methodist Church

    Holly Fair

    Saturday 1st November 11.00 am to 2.00 pm

    Wells Green Methodist Church
    Brookland Avenue, Wistaston

    Many stalls including Cakes, Books, Toys, Costume Jewellery, Preserves, Crafts, Gifts, Pink & Silver Stall, Christmas Hamper and Trade-craft Goods

    Come and sample our excellent refreshments

    All Welcome.

  • 1 Nov 2014 5:45pm - Fireworks Display

    Venue: Eric Swan Sports Ground (Brittles)

    Our annual village fireworks display starts with the judging of the traditional Fancy Dress and Pumpkin competitions at 5:45pm on the Triangle at the junction of Westfield Drive and Park Drive. This will be followed by a torch-light procession (please bring your own torches) which leaves at 6pm to the Eric Swan Sports Ground (Brittles) for the fireworks display at 6:30pm. The scouts will be serving hot food and hot and cold drinks.

    This event is supported by the Wistaston Parish Council and the entertainment is sponsored by PA4You Ltd.

    Entry is by donation and any profits will go to charity.

  • 9 Nov 2014 3:00pm - Service of Rememberance

    Venue: Wistaston Memorial Hall

    A tribute will be given to Lieutenant Ronald Arthur Hulse who died on 17th June 1944, aged 29 years. He served with the 91st Regiment, Royal Artillery and is buried in Egypt. He lived in Manor Avenue, Wistaston and had attended the Nantwich & Acton County Grammar School.   • 15 Nov 2014 10:00am - Cancer Research UK Christmas Fair

    Venue: Memorial Hall

    Crewe & Nantwich Cancer Research UK Committee is holding their Christmas Fair in the Memorial Hall from 10am until 3pm.

  • 21 Nov 2014 7:30pm - Working with Wildlife

    Venue: St. Marys Church Hall, Wistaston

    Working with Wildlife with Steve Leonard

    Friday 21st November 2014 at 7:30pm (to start for 8pm)

    All monies raised will be donated to Wistaston scout group.

    Refreshments available on the night.

  • 22 Nov 2014 6:45pm - Kipling Singers concert

    Venue: Union Street Baptist Church in Crewe

    On Saturday 22 November, the Kipling Singers will be giving a concert at Union Street Baptist Church in Crewe. Known for their close harmony singing, the group will be performing a wide selection of songs from the shows, some chart classics as well as some more traditional works.

    The ticket price of £7 includes a Spud & Pud Supper, which will be served from 6.45pm and the concert begins in the church at 7.30pm.

    Profits will be split between Union Street Baptist Church and St Luke’s Hospice.

  • 28 Nov 2014 7:30pm - The South Cheshire George Formby Ukuele Concert

    Venue: Memorial Hall

    The South Cheshire George Formby Ukuele Society was founded in 1994 and performs a concert at the Memorial Hall on the fourth Friday of every month throughout the year. There are no membership fees to pay to attend a concert and the entrance fee is just £1 to cover the costs of rent and refreshments.
