  • 5 Nov 2016 6:30pm - Fireworks Display

    Venue: Eric Swan Sports Ground

    This event is run by the Wistaston Community Council.

    Parade - meeting on the triangle of grass on Park Drive and Westfield Drive at 5:45 for 6:00pm prompt start.

    Parade arrives Brittles approx 6:15pm

    Judging of fancy dress and pumpkin competitions (at the Brittles) 6:20pm

    Fireworks at around 6:30pm

    Redshift Radio playing from 6:00pm

    Entry is by donation.


  • 13 Nov 2016 3:00pm - Service of Rememberance

    Venue: Memorial Hall

    The Service of Rememberance starts at 3pm in the main hall. We will remember all those people killed in conflicts. The Memorial Hall was opened on 26th March 1949 in memory of the sixteen men from Wistaston who perished in the Second World War. We will remember them.

  • 19 Nov 2016 10:00am - Cancer Research UK Christmas Fair

    Venue: Memorial Hall

    Lots of stalls plus Tea Room and Father Christmas.

    Event runs from 10am to 3pm

  • 26 Nov 2016 - Kipling Singers

    Venue: Union Street Baptist Church

    The traditional charity fundraiser by the Kipling Singers including delicious food and the famous Dutch auction.

    Time to be confirmed.

  • 9 Dec 2016 7:00pm - Annual Christmas Concert

    Venue: St Marys Church Hall

    This event is run by the Wistaston Community Council and all profits will be donated to childrens charities.
