  • 24 Oct 2014 7:30pm - The South Cheshire George Formby Ukuele Concert

    Venue: Memorial Hall

    The South Cheshire George Formby Ukuele Society was founded in 1994 and performs a concert at the Memorial Hall on the fourth Friday of every month throughout the year. There are no membership fees to pay to attend a concert and the entrance fee is just £1 to cover the costs of rent and refreshments.

  • 25 Oct 2014 7:00pm - The Wistaston Singers - 'Variety of Music'

    Venue: Nantwich Methodist Church

    The Wistaston Singers present a 'Variety of Music' in Nantwich Methodist Church, Hospital Street, Nantwich on Saturday 25th October 2014 at 7pm.

    Tickets = £6 (available on the door). Price includes light refreshments.

    Proceeds in support of St Luke’s Hospice (Cheshire) Appeal.

  • 31 Oct 2014 - Annual Hall Quiz

    Venue: Memorial Hall

    On Friday 31st October the Memorial Hall Committee will hold their Annual Hall Quiz for the Fred Lorimer Memorial Shield. Teams of four at £8 per team.

  • 1 Nov 2014 5:45pm - Fireworks Display

    Venue: Eric Swan Sports Ground (Brittles)

    Our annual village fireworks display starts with the judging of the traditional Fancy Dress and Pumpkin competitions at 5:45pm on the Triangle at the junction of Westfield Drive and Park Drive. This will be followed by a torch-light procession (please bring your own torches) which leaves at 6pm to the Eric Swan Sports Ground (Brittles) for the fireworks display at 6:30pm. The scouts will be serving hot food and hot and cold drinks.

    This event is supported by the Wistaston Parish Council.

    Entry is by donation and any profits will go to charity.

  • 9 Nov 2014 3:00pm - Service of Rememberance

    Venue: Wistaston Memorial Hall

    A tribute will be given to Lieutenant Ronald Arthur Hulse who died on 17th June 1944, aged 29 years. He served with the 91st Regiment, Royal Artillery and is buried in Egypt. He lived in Manor Avenue, Wistaston and had attended the Nantwich & Acton County Grammar School.     Venue: Memorial Hall

    Crewe & Nantwich Cancer Research UK Committee is holding their Christmas Fair in the Memorial Hall from 10am until 3pm.
